I Love You the Purplest by Barbara M. Joosse - Early in the evening two young brothers and their mama finish supper in the sturdy red cabin and set out to fish. While digging for worms, rowing the boat and pulling in fish, each brother asks his mama which one is the best at each task and, as they are being tucked into bed, which one she loves the best.
Mama, Do You Love Me? by Barbara M. Joosse - Mama, do you love me? Yes I do Dear One. How much? In this universal story, a child tests the limits of independence and comfortingly learns that a parent's love is unconditional and everlasting. The story is made all the more captivating by its unusual Arctic setting. The lyrical text introduces young readers to a distinctively different culture, while at the same time showing that the special love that exists between parent and child transcends all boundaries of time and place.
Love is You & Me. by Monica Sheehan - Love is me, and love is you. You see, when you smile I smile too. When you’re around, the skies are blue.
You're Lovable to Me by Kat Yeh - in this warmhearted tale of multi-generational love, repentant bunnies apologize to their mama for the day’s shenanigans.
